Innodal is an innovative Quebec company that was founded in 2017 after Laurent Dallaire and François Bédard met in graduate school. The two men, both driven entrepreneurs looking to breathe new life into the biotechnology industry, chose to start a company with a mission to protect consumers and the food supply from harmful contaminants, including Listeria, Salmonella and E. coli. Innodal is an organization that produces and sells natural antimicrobial proteins (bacteriocins) to specifically eliminate pathogenic bacteria from food products. Their product Inneo, the first bacteriocin approved by Health Canada, is a veritable revolution for the food industry. The Innodal team actively participates in the development and production of innovative natural antimicrobials in order to offer a new generation of natural preservatives that replace conventional chemical preservatives. They are committed to preserving the natural goodness of food from the field to the grocery store shelf.
